We are Volkan and Özge. We left our vivacious yet hectic life in Istanbul behind and moved to Gumusluk Bodrum, where the sun sets as a ball of fire to the sea, for a second life full of design. We opened the doors of our workshop with the dream of this new life. That’s how Vulcanus was born.

Vulcanus is not only the god Volkan was named after, but he is also the god of our inspiration! Because in Roman mythology, Vulcanus is the god of fire and volcanoes, iron and art, the maker of weapons and armor of other gods and heroes. Vulcanus is the only God who does not fight but is a craftsman.

We believe the touch of the hand heals both the mind and the soul, and we continue the legacy of Vulcanus with our high-quality, handcrafted designs from real materials coming out of our workshop and the solutions of our designer partners who share our vision.

When transforming a design into a product, our priority is craftsmanship. We can get help from technology from time to time, but we always prefer handicraft solutions whenever possible.
